Back by popular demand, leaders in the field of mouse genomic engineering will gather for the Building a Better Mouse (BBM) II conference on July 12-14, 2007 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
The first BBM conference, held in 2004, was successful in bringing together scientists whose research involved the creation of new mouse models using various gene targeting and retroviral-based technologies.
BBM II promises to be even more engaging, with an exciting program of posters, exhibits, and entertainment. The conference will foster an intimate and casual atmosphere, and will be affordable to encourage the participation of young investigators.
The keynote speakers will be Rudolf Jaenisch and Janet Rossant. In addition, sixteen other speakers will present in sessions to include lineage tracing and cell marking, chromatin organization and control, ES cell modeling and differentiation, small RNAs and new technologies, and large scale projects. Late breaking technologies will also be discussed.
Space is limited, so register early to guarantee your seat and take advantage of discounted fees. For more information, please visit the official BBM II website at www.vcscb.org/bbm.
