I am a Senior Research Specialist in the Magnuson lab, concentrating on both mouse and human ES cell experiments. I learned ES cell culture techniques in the Vanderbilt ES Cell/Transgenic Core, where I worked for 5 1/2 years and first met Mark. I joined Mark’s lab in May 2003. I have a B.S. in Animal Science and a M.S. in Equine Reproductive Physiology from the University of Kentucky. My husband Henry is an attorney and songwriter (hence the move to Nashville) and we have 2 children, Claire and Zach, both in college. Thank you Vanderbilt Tuition Benefit! Our empty nest has been filled by Maggie, a lab mutt who keeps us walking.
