The Vanderbilt Center for Stem Cell Biology (VCSCB) sponsors a weekly Stem and PRogenitor Cell INterest Group meeting for Center investigators, faculty members, research assistants and students to discuss topics relating to stem and/or progenitor cell biology. SPRING meetings are held on Thursdays from 9:00-10:00 AM in 9455 MRB IV.

The iPSC Interest Group Meeting is a monthly "journal club" like meeting for all researchers interested in using induced pluripotent stem cells in their studies. There is an emphasis on attendance for trainees. VCSCB faculty members, Aaron Bowman, Ph.D. and Kevin Ess, M.D., Ph.D., are co-sponsors. The meeting will focus on the nitty-gritty of applying iPSC technology to scientific questions. The objective is to build an institutional-wide collaborative group to build on each other's experiences and method development. iPSC meetings are held on the second Thursday each month from 3:00-4:00 PM in 6131 MRB III.
