Members
We are an interdisciplinary group that contains members from Schools of Medicine, Engineering and Arts and Sciences. These members have broad organ interests, including cells of the nervous system, retina, intestine, pancreas, heart, and mammary glands.
Membership Requirements
The VCSCB is a participation-based Center. Faculty memberships are granted for a three year, renewal term that are contingent upon 1) performing research in the field of stem and progenitor cell biology, and 2) participating in VCSCB-sponsored activities. In addition, renewing members are expected to present a forward-looking talk in the SPRING series that either 1) describes research in their laboratory that pertains to stem and/or progenitor cell biology, or 2) how several recent publications have advanced the field in an important way.
